▶ Ferritic stainless steel (400 Series)
It has a chromium content of 15%~30% and has a bcc structure.
It has the characteristics of large thermal conductivity, small expansion coefficient, good oxidation resistance and excellent resistance to stress corrosion.
Ferritic stainless steel is an excellent substitute material in many applications of austenitic stainless steel (300 Series).
Ferritic stainless steel contains no nickel, the main elements are chromium and iron, and chromium is a particularly corrosive element of stainless steel.
Ferrite price is not only low and stable, so it has been widely applied in industry.
